David Bewick is an audio-visual artist working across moving image, experimental sound design and composition. His practice is often entropic, ever changing and finding new forms but is usually found exploring the spaces between the entanglement of human, machinic, and geological temporalities. His work seeks to develop methods that are sometimes for philosophical inquiry, often site-specific, and almost always experimental in nature. His previous lives as an Exploration Geologist and Documentary Filmmaker continue to inform his developing practice.

David can usually be found either in Manchester or Cumbria, usually with a bag of microphones, cameras and handmade electronics. Available for commissions, collaborations, and residencies.
